Parker Duofold Special Big Red Fountain Pen 1929 | Medium Nib

Description

Here we have a Parker Duofold Special  Big Red button filler fountain pen, with features that date it from 1929, crisp Duofold imprint to the barrel, and nib engraving. The pen is in excellent condition, a Canadian model, with no cracks or damage, a medium 14ct gold nib, and Christmas Tree feed. It has been fully dismantled and fitted with a new ink sac.

The Special model is a slender and slightly shorter version of the Senior Big Red,  the respective comparison dimensions are: Length 13.5cm | Cap diameter 1.4cm |  Barrel diameter 1.23 cm.   Senior: Length 14 cm | Cap diameter 1.50 cm Barrel diameter 1.33 cm
