WW2 Special Operations Executive Concealed DaggerFountain Pen | Swan Mabie Todd

Here we have an extremely rare dagger concealed as a Swan Mabie Todd fountain pen used by Special Operations Executive agents during WW2 Agent. A simple looking lever filler  ( at first glance )in excellent overall condition, with cracks or damage. The pen/dagger could have been polished to remove the scatches,and decided to keep its visable wear

It would be interesting to know what part this particular pen played in any of the special operations carried out in WW2. I am sure we’ll never find out.

The Special Operations Executive (SOE) used concealed dagger pens and pencils during World War II as spy gadgets for assassination or self-defense. These were often manufactured by MI9 and disguised as ordinary pens, with the cap unscrewing to reveal a sharp, three-sided steel blade. Some were designed to be fully functional writing instruments, while others were simple hollowed-out pencils with the dagger concealed inside, sometimes with twine for easy extraction
