Description
Here we have the hard-to-find Chilton Pen Co of Long Island New York, Wing-Flow Pneumatic filler celluloid fountain pen, and whilst it was very successful, it was was produced for only one year as the company faced difficulties during the 1930s depression.
The pen measures 13cm capped and is fitted with a Wing-Flow 14K gold fine nib, the cap and barrel are decorated with slender long and short silver inlay strips, evocative of the Art Deco period.
To operate the Pneumatic filler, grip the knob at the end of the barrel and pull out the tube, submerge the nib in ink, cover the breather hole on the end of the barrel, with your thumb, and depress the tube.
