Graf von Faber-Castell Elemento Olive Wood Limited Edition Fountain Pen | Fine Nib

Here we have a very special Graf von Faber-Castell  250th anniversary limited edition 2011 fountain pen, with a barrel made of cross-grained olive wood, constructed with an innovative technique that enables the grain of the wood to be displayed in a way previously unknown. Like a masterpiece of marquetry, the cross-grained olive wood is fitted into the barrel in six individual elements, which are varnished and hand-polished several times. The pen is filled with a fine 18ct gold two-tone nib, a cartridge converter filling system that slides out of the barrel by turning the end cap, in near mint condition, and is presented in a wooden box, pen pouch, and booklet.
