Here we have a rare example of the Montblanc Meisterstuck No 40 push knob filler fountain pen, made of hard rubber and produced in Germany between 1930- 1945 ( This model was also produced in Denmark for ); it is fitted with a Double Broad 14ct gold 4810- 225 nib, which corresponds with the BB indicator on the push knob and model no,40
The pen is in excellent condition , no cracks or damage and has been fully restored. The imprints are readable and the cap also bears name Stoffhaas imprinted to the cap. Stöffhaas was a prominent German stationery retailer in Hamburg, Berlin, and Leipzig that partnered with Montblanc in the 1920s and 1930s. Pens branded “Stöffhaas” were manufactured by Montblanc and sold at these exclusive locations.
